Caves and potholes in Castellfollit del Boix

Castellfollit del Boix, in the Bages, spreads across a rural territory of gentle hills and dryland farming, in one of the least populated areas of the comarca. Its small village center, far from the main communication routes, retains a traditional agricultural landscape. The limestone bedrock of this relief in the Bages allows for the presence of a few cavities recorded in the catalogue.
