Caves and shafts in Isona i Conca Dellà

Isona i Conca Dellà, in the Pallars Jussà, lends its name to the basin that contains one of the most important sets of dinosaur sites in the Iberian Peninsula, interpreted at the Museu de la Conca Dellà. This Pre-Pyrenean relief, with limestone ranges surrounding the depression, gives the municipality a catalogue of cavities that complements its already recognized paleontological heritage.
