Caves and potholes in les Masies de Voltregà

Les Masies de Voltregà, in Osona, spreads across the Vic plain, a territory of scattered farmhouses surrounding the towns of Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà and Sant Pere de Voltregà. The mostly flat relief of this part of the comarca, traditionally given over to farming and livestock, nonetheless contains occasional karst formations, typical of the limestone bedrock that characterizes much of Osona.
