Caves and potholes in Mont-roig del Camp

Mont-roig del Camp, in the Baix Camp, combines a tourist-oriented coastline, with the resort of Miami Platja, with an extensive inland municipal area that climbs towards the mountains of the serra de Llaberia. This contrast between the coastal plain and the rugged inland relief, of limestone bedrock, produces a cave catalogue concentrated mainly in the mountainous part of the municipality.
