Caves and potholes in Naut Aran

Naut Aran, formed by the grouping of several settlements in the upper Val d’Aran such as Salardú, Bagergue, Tredòs and Arties, occupies the highest end of the valley, home to the Baqueira-Beret ski resort. This high Pyrenean mountain territory, with peaks rising above 2,800 metres, contains high-altitude karst formations within a relief that is both glacial and limestone, unusual for the rest of Catalonia.
