Caves and potholes in la Pobla de Cérvoles

La Pobla de Cérvoles, in the Garrigues, is one of the smallest and least populated municipalities in the comarca, sitting on an inland plateau with a dry climate and a landscape of olive and almond trees. Its limestone relief, typical of the inland Tarragona plain, presents a geological context favourable to the existence of cavities, despite the municipality’s still limited catalogue.
