Caves and potholes in Queralbs

Queralbs, in the vall de Ribes, is the starting point of the rack railway that has climbed up to the sanctuary of the Vall de Núria since 1931, covering more than 1,000 metres of elevation gain over 12.5 km. Surrounded by Pyrenean peaks such as the Puigmal, its high mountain relief, on limestone terrain, generates cavities consistent with the altitude and climate of this headwater area of the Ter.
