Caves and potholes in Sales de Llierca

Sales de Llierca, in the Garrotxa, extends along the gorge that the Llierca river has carved through relief combining volcanic materials and limestone formations, in one of the steepest sectors of the comarca. This narrow, sparsely populated terrain, of great scenic value, contains catalogued cavities that reflect the geological diversity typical of the Garrotxa.
