Caves and potholes in Ulldemolins

Ulldemolins, in the Priorat, sits at the foot of the Serra de Montsant, one of the most important limestone massifs in southern Catalonia and a protected natural area. This abrupt relief, with cliffs and ravines separating the village from the rest of the comarca, contains one of the richest sets of cavities in the catalogue, consistent with the karst geology of the massif.
