Caves and potholes in Coll de Nargó

Coll de Nargó, in the Alt Urgell, is home to one of the most important sauropod dinosaur egg clutch sites in Europe, on display at the village’s Dinosfera museum. This paleontological wealth bears witness to a complex sedimentary geology, whose limestone stretches also produce a karst system of its own with recorded cavities.
