Caves and potholes in Olvan
Olvan, in the Berguedà, spreads across the basin of the Llobregat river in a mid-mountain territory close to Berga, with scattered settlements that reflect the comarca’s traditional pattern of settlement. Its relief, marked by the contrast between the river valleys and the buttresses that herald the pre-Pyrenees, contains karst formations typical of this transition zone towards the Berguedà ridges.
