Caves and shafts in Altiplà de la Segarra

Altiplà de la Segarra is the cereal-growing plateau, without major massifs, that extends across Segarra, Bages, Solsonès, Noguera and Anoia. Its gentle relief, lacking the limestone massifs that sustain karst elsewhere, limits the number of cavities there, evidence of a scarcer exploring tradition than in mountain zones.
