Caves and potholes in les Guilleries

The Guilleries, between Selva and Osona, form one of the densest and best-preserved forested massifs in Catalonia, in continuity with Collsacabra and Cabrerès. The abrupt relief of granites and schists in some areas, combined with calcareous sectors, generates diverse karst within a landscape of thick woodland.

There are 24 cavitats (23 coves i 1 avenc) catalogued in les Guilleries, mostly in Tavèrnoles, les Masies de Roda and Vilanova de Sau. GRIOTERES, COVA DE LES, amb 323 m de recorregut.
