Caves and potholes in el Port del Comte

Port del Comte, known above all for the ski resort that bears its name, is a Pyrenean limestone massif straddling Berguedà, Solsonès and Alt Urgell. Above and below the slopes, the karst terrain holds a notable catalog of cavities, consistent with the area’s altitude and abrupt relief.

There are 43 cavitats (15 coves i 28 avencs) catalogued in el Port del Comte, mostly in Fígols i Alinyà, Odèn and la Vansa i Fórnols. ANDANA, FONT D', amb 679 m de recorregut.
