Caves and potholes in Serra de Finestres

The serra de Finestres, in Garrotxa, rises on the edge of the volcanic zone that makes the county famous, with a calcareous substrate quite different from the volcanism found in the rest of the territory. This lithological contrast generates its own karst there, in mid-mountain relief.
