Caves and shafts in Cornudella de Montsant

Cornudella de Montsant, in the Priorat, stretches along the foot of the serra de Montsant, one of Catalonia’s best-known limestone massifs for climbing and hiking, with the neighbouring village of Siurana within its boundaries. This rugged relief of conglomerates and limestone, within the protected natural area of the serra, forms a karst environment with a catalogue of cavities typical of the area.
