Caves and potholes in el Baix Foix

Baix Foix is the lower basin of the Foix river, which forms a natural border between the Garraf massifs and the lands of Penedès – it extends across Garraf, Alt Penedès and Baix Penedès. The gentle limestone relief of this transitional zone generates a notable number of cavities there, in a landscape that combines vineyards with Mediterranean woodland.
