Caves and potholes in Solsonès

As a geographic unit – beyond the administrative boundaries of the county of the same name – Solsonès designates the plateau and Prepyrenean ranges that also extend towards Berguedà. It is a transitional zone between the Depressió Central and the Prepyrenees, with limestone outcrops that have given rise to a considerable number of cataloged cavities, in a rural territory with low population density.
